Job Profile of a Security Assistant in IB
A simple 10th pass student can go for this reputed job. A Security Assistant role in IB is similar to a police constable. But the work in IB is more smooth than the police department. It is the lowest rank of the Bureau. The work is the same as of an ACIO but at lower levels. They are posted in the same state only. In districts, they work under the guidance and supervision of ACIO. SA has to gather all information, threats and should have a good connection with locals to gather information. The work includes :
Maintenance of different registers

Communication duty
Assist the ACIO as and when needed
Collection of intelligence
Visiting different offices to deliver communication
Training and Salary
Initial training is quite easier than the army, but the work profile challenges the individual’s mental strength.
The second phase of training will have no physical training, only theoretical classes from morning to evening and the best thing is you will be getting a salary of about 20,000 rupees during your training period. You will get no under-table money in this job but in this job, you get 13 months' salary instead of 12, just like a CBI Sub Inspector. You will get all government benefits and also risk allowance etc.
Promotion
You will be eligible for taking departmental examinations after giving services for 3 years continuously. Regular promotion is a little bit slow in this department as compared to others.

Junior Intelligence Officer II (Grade pay 2400)
Junior Intelligence Officer I (Grade pay 2800)
Asst. Central Intelligence Officer II (Grade pay 4600)** It depends on the state and region you are selected.
Job Profile of Multi-Tasking Staff in IB
The MTS job role has its challenges and needs hard work. The duties and responsibilities that MTS job role includes are;
Maintain the cleanliness of the section/unit
Maintain the records of the unit
Maintain and dispatch files
Send mails, fax, photocopy the documents, etc.
Other duties as instructed by seniors
Pay Scale : Level-1 (Rs. 18000-56900) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Government allowances.
