The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has published the online application form for recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees through GATE 2022. NTPC Recruitment through GATE 2022 is for Engineering Executive Trainees in Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil & Mining.
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited is an Indian PSU under the ownership of the Ministry of Power, GOI. NTPC was set up to strengthen the country’s power production. NTPC is India’s major thermal power generating firm and it is also involved in coal mining, equipment manufacturing, power trading, renewable energy & power distribution.
Being recognised as one of the selected candidates in NTPC is a dream come true for many engineers. Once the candidates are shortlisted, they will undergo one year of training before the final posting which will be based on performance during training and requirements. Candidates can be enlisted to any projects or subsidiary functions of NTPC across India. A total of 864 trainee engineers would be recruited on the basis of their GATE 2022 score.

Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on the GATE-2022 scores. Based on GATE-2022 performance & scorecards, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interviews.85% of the final merit list will be determined by GATE 2022 scores, 5% by general discussion & 10% by personal interview.
Medical Examination
Candidates must pass a medical examination before joining, which will be administered by the NTPC medical board, and there are no exceptions to the health norms.

Free from any kind of deformity or abnormality
Joint & locomotor function should be within normal ranges
The chosen candidates will undergo a year of training at various locations. Following the conclusion of training, the final posting location will be decided.
Candidates can be placed across the country, in any projects or stations.
Salary Description:
Successful NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees are eligible for a pay ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,40,000 per month. The candidates will be eligible for a variety of benefits including dearness pay, medical coverage, provident funds & gratuities.

Unique Registration Number will be generated after the successful completion of registration process
Application fees can be submitted in an online or offline mode
Candidates have to upload passport size photograph in jpg/jpeg format not exceeding 500kb
