The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2023 for 7500 vacancies. Students who have been waiting for the SSC CGL announcement for the year 2023 can apply now through the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in till May 3rd. The Staff Selection Commission administers the CGL exam on a yearly basis for the purpose of hiring potential candidates for Grade B and Grade C category employment in numerous government ministries, departments, and offices around the nation.

SSC CGL Overview:

The SSC CGL exam will be held in two stages called Tier 1 & Tier 2. The entire application process takes place online through the official website. The exam will also take place in online mode. Candidates must qualify for the Tier 1 stage to proceed to the Tier 2 stage, before being finally selected. The Tier 1 exam will be held from 14th July to 27th July 2023.

There will be an age relaxation of 5 years available for the SC/ST category, 3 years for the OBC category, 10 years for the PwBD (Unreserved), 13 years for the PwBD (OBC), 15 years for the PwBD (SC/ST), 3 years for the Ex-Serviceman category candidates.

Assistant Audit Officer	Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University OR Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/ Masters in Business Studies
Compiler Posts	Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject
Statistical Investigator Grade-II Post	Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation
All Other Posts	Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent

Application Fees:

Those who wish to register for the SSC CGL exam have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. Candidates can pay the fee online or offline methods using SBI challan or BHIM, UPI or internet banking, credit card or debit card. Female candidates, and those belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from the application fee payment.
