NEET MDS 2023: Exam Updates
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has begun the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2023 registration process. The submission time will be available until January 30, 2023. Candidates can find the direct link to submit the NEET MDS 2023 application form in the official website nbe.edu.in.
Candidates can edit the NEET MDS application form from February 2 to February 5, 2023. The final edit window to rectify deficient or incorrect images of photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions will remain accessible from February 10 to February 15, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and have obtained provisional or permanent registration can apply for the NEET MDS. Additionally, one year compulsory rotatory internship in an approved/recognized dental college is also required.
Exam Fee:
The General/OBC candidates have to be paid an exam fee of Rs 4250 and Rs 3250 for SC/ST/PWD.

To get User ID & password, complete the registration by click on New Registration
Login & fill application form
Upload documents
Choose exam city, pay fee and submit form
Take printout of filled application form with transaction ID printed on it
Syllabus:
The NEET MDS 2023 syllabus will be based on BDS standard and encompass all subjects covered in BDS course as specified in DCI's periodically updated regulations for BDS programmes.
General anatomy including embryology and histology
General human physiology and Biochemistry
Dental anatomy, Embryology, and Oral Histology
General surgery
Dental materials
General medicine
Oral pathology and oral microbiology
Oral medicine and Radiology
Conservative dentistry and Endodontics
Public health dentistry
Exam Pattern:
NEET MDS will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
Exam paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions
There will be a total of 240 questions in the question paper
Exam duration will be 3 hours
The paper will be in English language only
4 marks will be given for correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
