The official notification of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2023 (GPAT 2023) is out now. The GPAT 2023 exam is administered and organized by the National Testing Agency, NTA once every year. Candidates can register for the MPharma exam through the official website gpat.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the post is March 6, 2023. The correction window will remain open from 7th March 2023 to 9th March 2023. The GPAT 2023 exam date is yet to be announced. However, the exam is expected to be conducted in April 2023.
Earlier, AICTE administered admission tests to MPharma and similar programs. However, as of 2017, the National Testing Agency was chosen as the sole autonomous agency to administer this exam to all participating institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the GPAT 2023. A candidate's candidature will be withdrawn if they do not meet the GPAT 2023 eligibility requirements, and no admission will be granted even after passing the test. The list below includes some important GPAT 2023 eligibility requirements:
The candidate must be an Indian citizen
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy (4 years, after Grade 12, including the lateral entry candidates) or an equivalent from a recognized university
Candidates appearing for the final exams of BPharma, whose results will be declared before the release of GPAT 2023 results are also eligible to apply
Candidates having pursued BTech Pharmaceutical, BTech Fine Chemical Technology, or similar courses are not eligible to appear in the examination
There is no upper age limit for people applying for the position
How to fill GPAT application form 2023?
GPAT 2023 application forms will only be accepted online. Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate pharmaceutical courses (MPharma) offered by GPAT-participating institutes must complete the GPAT 2023 registration form by March 6, 2023. Applicants can find a link to fill out the GPAT application form online on the official website,gpat.nta.nic.in.
Steps to fill out the application form:
Register and create an account by clicking on the “GPAT 2023 Registrations” tab on the official website. Register with a valid phone number and email address, as these will be your only means of communication with the exam organizing committee throughout the admissions process.
After the registration, log in with the credentials received and fill in the details required in the application form
Upload the scanned copies of specific documents in the desired format
Verify all the entered details before submitting the online application form
Paying the application form fee
Candidates who successfully register will receive notification on their registered phone number and email address when the GPAT online application form has been submitted.
Admit Card:
GPAT 2023 admit cards will be available on the official NTA website in the first week of April 2023 (tentative). Only applicants who have successfully completed the application process will be issued GPAT admission cards. The admit card for the GPAT 2023 exam will be available on the candidate's portal until the day of the exam. Applicants will not be allowed to take the entrance exam unless they have an admission card.
Results:
Results for the GPAT 2023 will be announced in the second week of May 2023. Every candidate who took the GPAT 2023 exam will be able to view their results online. You can check your results by providing your roll number and password.
Merit List:
The merit list will be announced a few days after the declaration of the results. A merit list will be published for students who are shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance examination. Admission to M.Pharma programs will be offered on the basis of candidates’ positions in the merit list.
Counseling:
Every participating institute will conduct the GPAT counseling procedure independently. It will be regulated either online or offline, as determined by the relevant body. Candidates can take part in the counseling process based on their rank. Candidates will be informed of all the details of the counseling process via the website of the relevant participating institute.
