There are no specific eligibility requirements for candidates who want to pursue the CFI program. All candidates are eligible for registration and participation regardless of their background and level of experience. Despite this, it is understood that certification applicants are in the professional domain of finance or are pursuing an academic qualification in the same area of study.

CFI’s Certified Banking & Credit Analyst (CBCA)™ Program covers the most critical knowledge and skills required to become a skilled credit analyst including accounting, industry analysis, business analysis, management assessment, financial analysis, loan security, credit evaluation and documentation, and review procedures. This credit analyst certification will help you hit the ground running, or move up the ladder as a world-class financial analyst.
The CBCA includes 23 courses (15 required courses, 5 optional prep courses and 3 electives). The recommended CBCA program study time is 60-100 hours and the average completion time is 4 months.
