Dr Vasif is the Deputy Medical Superintendent & Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences. He is also serving as the Nodal Officer for Covid care across private hospitals in the district, as appointed by the State Government.

· Best Outgoing MBBS student at Kerala university with 8 gold medals
· Won Best research paper awards twice at national level conferences
· South zone winner and National level second runner up at the prestigious TYSA (Torrent young scholar award) for medicine postgraduate

PROFESSIONAL
· Serving as the nodal officer for COVID activities for private institutions in Wayanad district.
· Member of the expert committee in drafting the district action plan for covid management in Wayanad.
· Served as the institutional nodal officer for the Nipah virus outbreak during 2018.
